Stamford Police Investigate Reports Of Gunshots In City's South End STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford police are investigating a report of as many as nine gunshots fired Monday night in the South End of the city, according to the Stamford Advocate.Witnesses reported hearing the shots shortly after 10 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Street near Lipton Place, and several called 911.
