Westchester County Police detectives are investigating a series of allegedly threatening texts that a Mount Kisco student was receiving from a former classmate.

A woman contacted Westchester County Police last week to report that her son was being harassed and had received multiple, unwanted, and threatening messages from a former classmate.

A report was filed and police said that the case has been turned over to detectives for further investigation.

Other items on the Mount Kisco Police blotter from Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16 include:

  • Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street and Moore Avenue shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, where there was a report of a man standing in the street screaming at passing traffic. Upon arrival, it was determined that the man was waiting for a taxi and was getting angry it had not arrived. While speaking with officers, the cab arrived and he promptly left the area.
  • Police intervention was required nearly a half hour later, when officers were dispatched to a Spencer Street home after a man reported that a guest who had been staying with him was refusing to leave. After speaking with police, the woman gathered her belongings and proceeded to leave the area.
  • A Mount Kisco youth was given a helping hand by police shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, March 16, where a local reported that a youth was “extremely upset and having an emotional crisis.” After speaking with the responding officers, the youth agreed to be transported to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for further evaluation. His condition was not clear on Monday morning.
