Man Taken To Hospital After Being Struck By Car In Yonkers A man was injured after being hit by a vehicle at a busy intersection in Westchester. The incident happened on Thursday, March 14 around midnight, when a pedestrian was struck in Yonkers in the area of Central Park Avenue and Clark Street, according to Yonkers Police Sgt. Robert Spink.  Arriving police found a 65-year-old man with an injury to his left ankle that he had sustained after being hit while crossing the road. Man Caught After Fleeing Scene Of Hit-Run Involving Boy In Westchester A 25-year-old man who hit a 9-year-old boy walking to school and then fled the area has been arrested by Sleepy Hollow Police. The incident took place around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday when the boy left home to go to his bus stop and stopped by a local convenience store to pick up a snack, said Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Anthony Bueti.  When the child was leaving the area of the store on Depeyster Street, near Clinton Street, he was struck by Jefferson Rodrigues-Veraf of Ossining, the chief said.
