A New York attorney with Connecticut roots and his wife are among seven people missing after the yacht they were on capsized early this week in Italy, according to multiple reports.
Christopher Morvillo, age 59, who attended the Canterbury School in Litchfield County, Connecticut, and later Fordham University, along with his wife, Neda Morvillo, age 57, are among six people who are unaccounted after the 184-foot luxury yacht overturned off the coast of Sicily on Monday morning, Aug. 19, according to ABC 7.

A New York company is recalling egg products that were produced in Italy and are ineligible to be exported to the United States.
Valrhona Inc., a Brooklyn company, is recalling about 66 pounds of dried albumin egg products, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
The recalled items were produced on Feb. 2, 2022, March 18, 2022, June 17, 2022, and July 19, 2022.
The products come in a plastic canister containing “Sosa ALBUWHIP" with lot code LALB22033, LALB22077, LALB22168 or LALB22200, officials said. …
Family Of Student At Prestigious Westchester School Who Died By Suicide Considers Legal Action
The family of an Italian teen who was a student at a prestigious New York academy has issued a statement following his death by suicide after allegedly being placed in isolation.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 17 at the EF Academy in Thornwood, according to Chief Paul J. Oliva, of the Mount Pleasant Police.
When police responded to a call of a suicidal person, Claudio Mandia, age 17, of Salerno, Italy, was found dead in a room at EF Academy on the eve of his 18th birthday, Oliva said.
He died from hanging, Oliva said.

Health officials are sharing new information about the pediatric inflammatory illness linked to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with 14 states now investigating cases.
New York State has the most cases with 102.
Other states now investigating cases are Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington. So far, those states have not yet released details on the cases.
