Nicole Valinote graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in Newspaper & Online Journalism in 2019. She has written stories for a number of publications, including Syracuse.com, The Record-Review and KTTC.com.

She previously worked as the social media and digital content manager at KTTC News, the NBC affiliate in Rochester, Minnesota. She joined the Daily Voice team in July of 2021.
