The fire alarm sounded around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29, alerting residents at the Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center on Kienan Road to the smell of smoke, firefighters on the scene tell incident reporter Mark Lieb. 40 Firefighters Battle Blaze That Started In Bedroom Of Westchester Home Dozens of firefighters were called into action on Sunday afternoon to battle a one-alarm blaze that broke out in the bedroom of a two-story Westchester home. Fire crews responded to an Eisenhower Drive home shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, when a family reported a fire had broken out in a bedroom on the second floor. Yonkers Deputy Chief of Personnel Daniel Flynn said that approximately 40 firefighters responded to the home and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
