New York Medical College Opens Expanded Simulation Center In Valhalla
New York Medical College has opened its newly renovated Clinical Skills and Simulation Center in Valhalla, expanding the facility to 27,000 square feet for hands-on health care training.
According to New York Medical College, the project added nearly 5,000 square feet along with seven medical suites, classrooms, labs, and two standardized patient exam rooms, bringing the total number of those rooms to 22.

Best Airports Ranked In New Traveler Satisfaction Study: How JFK, LaGuardia Fared
The nation's best airports for traveler satisfaction have been revealed in a new ranking.
JD Power released its 2026 North America Airport Satisfaction Study on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The study was based on 24,710 surveys from US and Canadian residents who traveled through at least one airport in either country.
The consumer intelligence company ranked airports based on seven factors, including ease of travel, trust, terminal facilities, staff, departure and travel-to-airport experience, food, beverage and retail, and arrival and travel-from-airport experience.

Several Northeast states are among the places with the most diversity in the US, according to a new study.
WalletHub released its 2026 Most & Least Diverse States in America list on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The study ranked all 50 states using 14 measures across socioeconomic, cultural, economic, household, religious, and political diversity.

$50K Powerball Ticket Sold In Westchester County — Here's Where
Someone is $50,000 richer after buying a winning Powerball ticket in Westchester County.
The third-prize-winning ticket for the Saturday, Sept. 12 drawing was purchased at the Gulf gas station at 274 Hamilton Ave. in White Plains, according to the New York Lottery.
The winning numbers were 14, 16, 23, 58, and 69, with a Powerball of 03.
This wasn't the only lucky winner — a second third-prize ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Wegmans in Rochester, lottery officials said.
The lottery did not say if a winner came forward.

Following a devastating fire that destroyed everything inside a longtime Westchester County day spa, its owner has reopened the business in a new location.
Bella Maiya Day Spa, which spent 13 years in Briarcliff Manor, is now welcoming clients at 100 S. Highland Ave., Suite A, in Ossining after its former location was gutted by fire in July.
