Stratford Man, 23, May Face Life In Prison On Federal Drug, Weapons Charges STRATFORD, Conn. — A 23-year-old Stratford man was indicted Friday on charges of narcotics trafficking and possession of firearms after he sold drugs to undercover Fairfield police officers, according to Deirdre M. Daly, U.S. attorney for Connecticut. Mark Leigh-James, also known as Rich, was arrested Oct. 5 on a federal criminal complaint.  At the time of his arrest, Leigh-James was carrying a backpack that contained about 7.5 grams of heroin, Daly said. Former Fairfield Dance Teacher Gets Year In Prison In Sex Assault Of Teen FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A former dance teacher from Fairfield received a one-year prison sentence for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old pupil, according to a report in ctpost.com. John Sadowski, 26, burst into tears during the sentencing Friday in Superior Court in Bridgeport, ctpost reported. Sadowsky, who had pleaded guilty to fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to children, was sentenced to five years, which will be suspended after one year in prison, followed by 10 years' probation and an order to register as a sex offender, according to ctpost.com.
