New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a wanted woman on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child and failing to appear in the City of Peekskill Court to respond to the charge.
Lauren DeHaynes, 31, also found herself in hot water in northern Westchester last year, when she was taken into police custody for using stolen credit cards that were taken from a vehicle in Cortlandt. She was scheduled to appear for court proceedings in June last year, but failed to show.
Investigators described DeHaynes as a 5-foot-2 woman with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 130 pounds. Police did not provide her last known address.
Anyone with information regarding DeHaynes’ whereabouts, or who recognizes her, has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators by calling (914) 769-2600 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
