Nathan Rollins, of Kingsport, Tennessee, was arrested at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, in front of a motel in Elmsford subsequent to an investigation into Darius Woodbury, who was arrested earlier that day.

Officers from the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, Greenburgh Street Crime Unit, Elmsford Police Department and the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force arrested Rollins on West Main Street in Elmsford hours after Woodbury was taken into custody following a traffic stop.

Police said that at the time of his arrest, Rollins was in possession of a fully loaded Taurus 9mm handgun with two fully loaded magazines.

Rollins was arrested without incident and transported to the Elmsford Police Department, where he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Rollins is being held pending his arraignment, which is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 10.
