Developing: 15 Protestors Charged After Closing Down Bridge In Hudson Valley New York State Police arrested 15 people during a protest calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict after they shut down parts of a major highway and a bridge.  The incident occurred in Dutchess County on I-84 and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge around 8 a.m., Monday, April 15. The incident took place around 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in the town of Newburgh. The carjacking took place after a 21-year-old man from Fishkill had advertised his 2018 Dodge Charger for sale on Facebook Marketplace, said Chief Donald Campbell, of the town of Newburgh Police. Man Dies After Jumping From Bridge In Hudson Valley A man from the region was killed after jumping from a Hudson Valley bridge. The incident took around 9 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, in Dutchess County where the New York State Police began investigating a report of a man jumping from the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in Beacon. ID Released For Man Killed During Hudson Valley Police Chase Crash The identity of the person killed during a police chase on I-84 that ended in a fiery crash has been released by New York State Police. The chase began around 9:40 p.m. Monday when New York State troopers attempted to stop a 2001 Toyota Tacoma on the Taconic State Parkway traveling north in the town of East Fishkill, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
