Car Flips Over, Slams Into Pole In Westchester, Leaving Driver Injured
A driver was left injured after a car overturned and crashed into a utility pole in Northern Westchester. The incident happened on Thursday, Feb. 16 around 6 p.m., when a vehicle traveling in Croton-on-Hudson Old Post Road South flipped over and hit a pole on Nordica Drive, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Firefighters and police then descended upon the scene to help the injured driver escape the vehicle. After the occupant was turned over to first responders, firefighters waited for Con Edison to fix the pole, which took about 90 minutes.

Person Sent To Trauma Center After Being Hit By Car Near Westchester Shopping Center
A person was sent to a trauma center after they were struck by a vehicle near a Northern Westchester shopping center. The incident happened on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 4:30 p.m., when a person was hit in Croton-on-Hudson on Maple Street near the Van Wyck Shopping Center, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Person Escapes Without Serious Injuries After Rollover Accident In Westchester County
One person is lucky to have walked away without serious injuries after their vehicle flipped over on a highway in Northern Westchester. On Tuesday, Dec. 13 around 5:30 a.m., firefighters in Croton-on-Hudson came across a rolled-over vehicle on Route 9 southbound, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Although the accident looked serious, the driver declined any medical assistance, firefighters said. The cause of the rollover was not reported. A 38-year-old man allegedly driving a stolen motorcycle was killed following a chase that ended in a two-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester.
