Driver Attempting To Avoid SUV Crashes Into Stone Wall In Scarsdale One man was hospitalized after losing control of his car while attempting to avoid an accident, striking a wall and rolling his vehicle over. A Mount Vernon man was driving northbound at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 7 on Post Road in Scarsdale near the intersection of Kathy Lane, when he attempted to change lanes, police said. When he did so, he had to swerve back into the right lane to avoid striking an SUV he didn’t see.
