Blaze Prompts Evacuation At Westchester Residence A residence in Northern Westchester was evacuated after a blaze broke out inside the building. The blaze happened on Saturday, April 13 just before 7 p.m., when smoke was reported at a Chappaqua residence on Hunts Place, according to the Chappaqua Fire Department. Arriving crews from Chappaqua and the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department quickly confirmed that everyone was out of the home before working to get the blaze under control. Carbon Monoxide Scare Leads To Evacuation Of Townhomes In Westchester A carbon monoxide scare led to the evacuation of several townhomes in Northern Westchester. First responders from the Chappaqua Fire Department responded to Chappaqua Crossing off Bedford Road shortly before 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 5, when a transformer exploded, causing high levels of carbon monoxide.
