Skipping Breakfast Linked To Early Death, New Study Says
Not everyone has time to eat breakfast each morning, but a new study has shown that skipping what’s long been called the “most important meal of the day” may be bad news for cardiovascular health. The study was conducted by Wei Bao, assistant professor of epidemiology in the University of Iowa College of Public Health. It showed that people who never ate breakfast had an 87 percent higher risk of death caused by cardiovascular disease than those who ate breakfast every day.
