Drill Planned At Westchester Elementary School: What Parents Need To Know A Westchester elementary school will host a reunification drill to prepare for emergencies, prompting temporary road closures and special procedures for parents and guardians. The Milton School in Rye will conduct the drill on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 12 p.m., according to the City of Rye Police Department. The exercise is designed to simulate how students, staff, and first responders would account for and reunite children with their families or caregivers following a crisis or emergency. Rye Town Park Announces Its Summer Concert Series Rye Town Park is hosting a series of seven free concerts at the park’s south pavilion this summer.  The concerts feature the music of high quality, local-area bands playing a wide range of popular music ideal for singing and/or dancing along. The concerts will be held on Tuesdays starting on June 19.  Two rain dates have been set aside in case of severe thunderstorms.  Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and end about 9 p.m. Admission to the concerts is free. Regular parking fees apply.  Some seating will be available, but people are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Picnick…
