Sewage Truck Overturns, Spills Contents On Interstate In Westchester Traffic on a busy Northern Westchester interstate was backed up for miles following a crash involving a sewage truck that resulted in two people being hospitalized.  The incident happened on Thursday, Sept. 5, just before 2 p.m., when three vehicles collided on Interstate 684 South just south of the Route 138 overpass in Goldens Bridge, according to the Goldens Bridge Fire Department.  As a result of the crash, a septic company truck overturned, spilling some of the contents on the roadway. Firefighters responded to a report of a grill fire at a residence on Route 202 in Somers at about 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. More than 75 firefighters battled the blaze that started around 9:44 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of a home on Anita Road, said the Somers Fire Department. The fire, which spread to the first and second floor, left the homeowner, Nancy Haggerty, a lifetime Somers resident, without any belongings and missing her four cats.
