Poughkeepsie's Hellenic Community Center Hosts Greek Festival POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.- The Hellenic Community Center in Poughkeepsie hosted its annual Greek Festival over the weekend, with visitors enjoying perfect weather, great food and entertainment, and lots of activities. The Hellenic Dancers of the Kimisis Greek Orthodox Church performed traditional Greek dancing Friday evening, as visitors enjoyed gyros, pastitso and other treats, as well as rides and games for the kids. The event is held Thursday through Sunday each year on Father's Day weekend.
