New Ellen DeGeneres Series Features Westchester College Student A SUNY Purchase student is one of six students being followed by the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Quincy Phillips, a graduate of the Summit Academy Charter School in Red Hook Brooklyn, was selected last February with a full college scholarship donated by the show and Walmart. The Ellen DeGeneres show is now following his progress through his freshman year as part of their new "Summit Series," launched Wednesday, Nov. 8.
