Turner, Thom Lead Croton over Westlake

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Wes Turner and Ian Thom each scored a game-high 17 points Friday to lead the Croton Tigers to a 59-47 victory over visiting Westlake

“Again, we had a great team effort,” Tigers coach Bill Thom said. “All 12 players contributed.”

The Tigers, who opened a 10-point lead and maintained it throughout most of the game, won their fourth straight game and ran their record to 13-3.

Tommy Hopkins scored 13 points, Rich Maio had 12 and Chris Kane added 11 points for Westlake.

Aaron Thompson handed out five assists, Turner grabbed 12 rebounds and Brady Aarons had five rebounds for the Tigers.
