CORTLANDT, N.Y. Winning pitcher Tommy Barsuch had two hits to lead the offense Tuesday as the Town of Cortlandt's Under-13 age group baseball team topped Somers 9-4 in a Westchester/Putnam Baseball Association game at Reis Park.
Barsuch struck out three, walked four and allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings, and reliever Michael Cudahy closed out the win by pitching the last 1 1/3 innings and allowing one run.
Dominick Costa walked three times and scored twice. Joe Guida scored two runs, stole two bases and drove in two runs. Matt Goffman scored a run and stole two bases, and Derek Gonda had two walks and a run batted in for the winners.
