BUCHANAN, N.Y. - Marion I. Sarc, a longtime resident of Buchanan, died Nov. 12. She was 80.
Sarc was born Jan. 10, 1933, in the Bronx, to Leonard and Catherine Kraut. She worked in the cafeteria at Hendrick Hudson High School.
Sarc is survived by her husband, Joe; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 16 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at E.F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
