Teenager Charged With Felony Drug Possession

MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. – New York State Police charged a 14-year-old with felony possession of a controlled substance after responding to reports of an altercation at the Cortlandt Town Center. Police discovered the 14-year-old to be in possession of several different narcotics and prescription drugs during the interview regarding the altercation, the minor could not prove legal possession of the prescription drugs.

The minor was issued an appearance ticket for Westchester County Family Court, on Dec. 27 at 9 a.m. The minor’s name and address is being withheld due to age. The arrest was made by State Trooper Ryan F. Keller and Investigator Sean J. Morgan.
