Cortlandt Man Arrested in Domestic Incident

CORTLANDT, N.Y.-- State Police arrested a Cortlandt man on suspicion of a domestic incident with his family on Sept. 12, according to police.

Richard A. Miller, 56, was arrested after ordering everyone to leave his house. Family members reported that Miller threatened to make them leave then left the room. Family members then heard a shotgun being racked, according to state police. 

The victims then exited the house and called 911. Miller was charged with Menacing in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor. He was released on $1,000 bail and is due back in court on Oct. 4, according to police.
