Woman Charged With $79K Grand Larceny In Hudson Valley
A 54-year-old woman stole $79,000 from a Northern Westchester business, state police said Monday evening. State police from the Cortlandt barracks received a complaint of fraud from Griffin’s Landscaping in Peekskill on Friday, Jan. 26. An investigation determined Peekskill resident Susan J. Palacios stole over $79,000 from the company, police said. Palacios was charged with grand larceny in the second degree, a Class C felony, and forgery in the second degree, Class D felony. Palacios was arraigned before the village of Buchanan Court and released on her own recognizance.
