Man Ramming Vehicles In Stolen Car Nabbed After Crash, Police Say A 32-year-old man was charged with numerous crimes after allegedly stealing a Dodge Charger during a burglary in the area and ramming numerous vehicles including police cruisers. Malachi Hunter, a former New Jersey resident, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 9, in Dutchess County after crashing head-on into a City of Poughkeepsie police car. The incident with Hunter began when police received a 911 call regarding an erratic driver attempting to run over people in the area of 52 Gifford Ave., said Detective Lt. Police Search For Thieves Who Stole Belongings From Vehicles In Rockland Police are once again asking residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after several were the target of burglaries. The burglaries took place in Pearl River on Monday, Dec. 24, in the area of S. Magnolia Street, W. Park Avenue, Rizzo Circle, Fairview Avenue, and Springsteen Avenue, Orangetown Police said.   One of the vehicles which was left unlocked had the key in it and was stolen. A high-speed police chase that ended with a crash has closed a major Westchester County roadway in two towns and injured a police officer, according to the Westchester County Police.
