Man Dies At Hospital After Blaze At Home In Hudson Valley
A man died at a hospital following a fire at a residence in Northern Westchester. The blaze happened on Tuesday, May 7 in Ossining in the area of Liberty Street and Spring Street, where a multi-floor residence went up in flames, according to Ossining Police. Arriving fire crews from Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson soon began working to put the blaze out. 39-Year-Old Accused Of Slashing Tires In Hudson Valley
A 39-year-old man has been charged after authorities said he slashed two tires in Northern Westchester. The Ossining man was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief, according to an announcement from the Yorktown Police Department on Friday, Jan. 28. The man's identity was not released. On Aug. 12, officers responded to a location in Yorktown after receiving a report that a vehicle had two tires slashed, authorities said. Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners In Area
A car crashed into the front of a Northern Westchester dry cleaners, taking out the entire window. The incident took place around 6 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, when the sedan plowed into the front of the Greenest Organic Cleaners, in Ossining, said Ossining Police. According to Ossining Chief Kevin Sylvester, the driver simply stepped on the wrong pedal and plowed into the business on North Highland Avenue. No one was reported injured.
