A Connecticut man who was a producer at CNN headquarters in New York City has been charged with sexually abusing underage girls. The attempted rape conviction of a Hudson Valley man has been upheld by the courts during an appeal of his 2019 guilty verdict during a jury trial. A staff sergeant at West Point who lives in the area has been charged for distributing child pornography, federal prosecutors announced. A 23-year-old registered sex offender in the Hudson Valley has been sentenced to nearly two decades behind bars after pleading guilty to posing as a child on social media to entice minors for sex.
