Fatal PIP Crash In Clarkstown Involves 3 Vehicles, Closes Roadway New update: ID Released For 20-Year-Old Killed Along With His Dog In PIP Crash In Clarkstown State police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The crash took place in Rockland County around 10 p.m., Thursday, April 13 southbound near the Clarktown exit, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Police did not say how many people were killed. Man, Dog Struck, Killed By Train In Area An oncoming train killed a man and his dog in the area, police said.  The two were both found dead in Orange County on the train tracks in the area of South Water Street and Renwick Street by City of Newburgh police at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
