Clarkstown North H.S. To Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Lacrosse Program

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- Clarkstown North High School will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of its lacrosse program Saturday, April 2, as the 2016 varsity Rams take on the Dobbs Ferry Eagles.

Former Clarktsown coaches, alumni and past team members are expected to attend the 1 p.m. game at the high school, 151 Congers Road, according to a statement from the district.

Former Coach Michael Goetz, also known as "The Father of Rockland County Lacrosse," will serve as the event's guest of honor, according to the statement.

A ceremony to mark the occasion will follow the game.
