Rockland County Legislature Could Face Changes After Election

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Every four years, every seat in the Rockland County Legislature comes up for election, lohud reported.

Currently, the legislature has 12 Democrats and 5 Republicans.

Nine of the 17 seats are contested, in Tuesday's election, so the majority could change, which would affect upcoming major votes. The contested seats are in Districts, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 17, reported lohud.
