The new symbol, five gray cubes arranged with an emerald cube to resemble the county's shape set against a charcoal background, has already appeared on Rockland's website and social media accounts and will soon make it to official print documents, according to lohud.com.

The effort marks the first time the county has ever tried to rebrand its image, according to lohud.com.

County spokesman Scott Salotto said the new logo aims to move the county forward under a single, unified banner, according to lohud.com.
