Alert Issued For Capital Region 14-Year-Old Missing Nearly Week Police in the region are asking for help locating a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for nearly a week. Montgomery County resident Diamond Hoover was last seen on Thursday, March 14, and was reported as a runaway, according to Amsterdam Police. Hoover is 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Amsterdam Police Department or 518-842-1100 or email infopd@amsterdampd.com. Schoharie County resident Michael Bell, age 37, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 13, on a felony charge of bribing a juror, according to New York State Police. Troopers said Bell, of the village of Schoharie, approached a juror in the town of Amsterdam in Montgomery County earlier in the day and offered them money in an attempt to influence their jury decision. Kevlin received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $546,840 after required withholdings, the lottery said. "It is truly a blessing," Kevlin told NY Lottery after claiming her prize. The winning ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops, which is located at 4192 Route 30 in Amsterdam, the lottery said.
