A 19-year-old man was jailed after leading officers on a high-speed chase in Northern Westchester, almost hitting a police cruiser head-on in the process, authorities announced. Katonah resident Max Lupinacci was arrested on Monday, Feb. 26 in connection with an incident that happened in Yorktown on Thursday, Jan. 18, Yorktown Police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 28. A 24-year-old man faces charges after allegedly shattering the glass windows of a parks and recreation office with rocks in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, April 16 around 1:30 a.m., when police received a report of a suspect shattering glass windows at the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Office at 176 Granite Springs Rd., according to Yorktown PD. Jeep Jumps Curb, Crashes Into Restaurant In Westchester
Emergency responders rushed to the scene after a Jeep jumped a curb and crashed into a restaurant in Northern Westchester. The incident happened around 3:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in Yorktown. The Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department said it was dispatched to the restaurant on Commerce Street for a report of a vehicle into the building. Three suspects who ransacked a pharmacy during a robbery in Northern Westchester are in custody after a manhunt, authorities announced. The incident happened on Thursday, June 30 at around 4:20 p.m. at the Yorktown Pharmacy on Commerce Street. A Northern Westchester man was arrested for alleged drunk driving after police received several calls of an erratic driver. Marco Chacha, age 38, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested on Sunday, June 6, after Yorktown Police received a report of an erratic driver on Commerce Street heading westbound on Route 202. A woman has been charged after police say she burglarized a CVS Pharmacy in Westchester. A 28-year-old man is facing a drug charge after being busted by police investigating him for allegedly throwing a rock at a car and intentionally damaging it at a busy gas station in Northern Westchester.
