Bedford Will Be Bustling With Holiday Events Soon

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The holiday season is fast approaching and Bedford will have a host of events in December to help get you in the festive spirit.

The season kicks off with the town tree lighting on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

Festivities begin at the Firehouse with hot chocolate and good cheer. The shops in the Village are offering special holiday discounts and treats Friday through Sunday. Stop by The Bedford Store on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and shop for Bedford-centric gifts for adults and colonial games for children.

Then meet the big man himself, as Santa comes to town on Saturday, Dec. 14 for "Santa & Crafts."

Join him and other residents at the Courhouse from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make winter crafts, enjoy hot chocolate and snacks and get a custom-cut silhouette.

RSVP for "Santa & Crafts" by calling the Historical Society at (914) 234-9751. Admission is $10 per family.

Schedule silhouette appointments in advance by calling Cyndi (917) 684-0122. Silhouettes cost $30 each.
