Amazon Reveals Average Salary, Number Of Jobs It Will Add At HQ2 Amazon has revealed the number of jobs it expects to add and the average annual salary at its new second headquarters after announcing 20 finalists, including New York City, for the new location Thursday morning.Amazon said it expects to invest more than $5 billion in construction and grow this second headquarters to include as many as 50,000 high-paying jobs with an average salary of $100,000.
