Three Injured As Fire Destroys Westchester Restaurant Three firefighters suffered injuries battling a blaze inside a popular Mount Vernon eatery that left the building razed and burned. Firefighters were dispatched to the Lincoln Barbecue on East Lincoln Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning after receiving reports of a fire inside the kitchen of the restaurant. It took firefighters several hours to knock down the flames, as they contended with wind, rain and tight confines inside the building.
