$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley, Including $50K Winner In Westchester
Whoopie, a lucky Hudson Valley player took home $1 million after matching all five numbers in the Powerball game.
The second-prize winning ticket matched the winning numbers 7-11-19-53-68 but not the Powerball of 23, for the Monday, March 25 game, said the New York Lottery.
The ticket was sold at the Smokes 4 Less store on Plank Road in Newburgh, lottery officials said.
There was also one third-prize-winning ticket sold in Westchester County in Ardsley. The winner, who matched four numbers plus the Powerball, took home $50,000, lottery officials added.

With the help of a task force consisting of numerous police departments, Westchester health officials were able to crack down on the largest illegal vape sales bust ever discovered in the county.

Food Drive For Migrants Organized In Westchester: Asylum Seekers 'Sick, Hungry,' Organizers Say
A group of volunteers who are finishing internships with a Westchester town will soon be holding a food drive to provide needed supplies to asylum seekers and migrants living in the county.
The food drive, organized by a group of 46 interns at Greenburgh Town Hall, will be hosting the food drive at Ardsley High School on Friday, Aug. 18, Saturday, Aug. 19, and Monday, Aug. 21, according to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
