Peekskill Blues And Jazz Festival Rocks Arts District
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Peekskill’s historic Arts District came alive with music on July 25 for the 9th Annual Peekskill Jazz and Blues Festival.
Local and national-touring musicians highlighted the concert, including headliner Slam Allen, Johnny Feds and Friends, Cocomama, Ray Blue, and The Lagond All-Stars.
Thousands of patrons enjoyed artists, indoor and outdoor dining, sangria, wine and craft beers, as well as merchandise vendors and 12 restaurants within walking distance of the Main Stage located at North Division Street at Park and Central.
Ossining High School Class Of 1985 Celebrates 30-Year Reunion
OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Ossining High School Class of 1985 celebrated its 30-year reunion from July 23-26 with events held throughout their former stomping grounds.
Approximately 45 alumni traveled to Ossining from Connecticut, Florida, Kansas City, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C. and all parts of New York -- including many who still live in the Westchester County town.

Rotary Club That Serves Somers Donates To ShelterBox
SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Rotary Club of Northeast Westchester in Somers has donated $1,800 to ShelterBox, a humanitarian relief charity assisting survivors of disasters and humanitarian crises around the globe.
The Northeast Westchester chapter combines the former Katonah Rotary Club, chartered in 1929, and the 2002-chartered Somers Rotary Club to serve Katonah, Somers, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge, North Salem, and South Salem -- among others.
