Emma Frank Combines the Law and the Land

Emma Frank, an associate broker with RE/MAX Ace Realty, understands how the nuances of the law often affect residential real estate. Originally a lawyer, Frank has been a real estate agent for nearly a decade. Although she cannot officially give legal advice while acting as an agent, she says her legal background makes her well rounded when working with clients and she points out potential pitfalls for buyers and sellers to consider.

Frank finds many of the same skills that make a good lawyer also make her a good agent, such as following through and understanding timing in closing a home sale.

“Once a client sees something they like and wants to put an offer in, I do all that I can to push the transaction along.” She often goes the extra mile, dropping off contracts personally, rather than losing a couple of days by relying on the mail.

She is a member of the New York State Bar but switched to real estate about seven years ago to keep her schedule more flexible for her family. The mother of three, one of whom is on the autistic spectrum, Frank stopped out of her career for several years while her children were young. She says she enjoys real estate and focuses on residential properties in northern Westchester County but reaches as far north as Sullivan County.

A resident of Pleasantville for nearly 12 years, she is originally from Washington, D.C. Frank met her husband while in law school at Pepperdine University on the West Coast, but they decided to move back to his home area of Westchester to raise a family.

She says she loves sharing her adopted home with her clients. “I try to be very sensitive to my clients,” Frank says. “I try to do all I can to service them and meet their needs.”
