Two Pose As Utility Workers During Home Burglary In Westchester, Police Say

Police investigators in Harrison are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down two men who posed as utility workers and burglarized an area home.

Police said that at approximately 2:45 p.m., two Hispanic men entered a Webster Avenue home in Harrison, advising the homeowner that they were utility workers. While inside, the two men distracted the homeowner and entered the master bedroom, burglarizing the residence.

According to police, the two men were in the home for approximately 20 minutes. Investigators did not release what items were stolen from the home. Anyone with information regarding the burglary has been asked to contact detectives at the Harrison Police Department by calling (914) 967-5111.
