The North Castle Police Department was notified shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15 by a caller who said he had parked his motorcycle in the shoulder of the roadway just south of Rye Lake Bridge so he could go to walk in a nearby wooded area.
Police said that upon his return, the motorcycle was gone. Officers responded to the scene to investigate and an affidavit was secured regarding the incident. The case is currently under investigation.
