Senior Winery and Castle Tour in Millbrook

ARMONK, N.Y. – The North Castle Senior Recreation Department is conducting a winery and castle tour in Millbrook, N.Y. with lunch at Charlotte’s Restaurant Wednesday October, 26.

The first stop of the trip will be at Wing’s Castle, home to Peter and Toni Ann Wing, which features seven towers and a moat.

Following the castle stop will be lunch at Charlotte’s Restaurant and then the day finishes off with a trip to the Millbrook Winery for  an inside look at the wine-making process, which will include a visit to the vineyard and tasting room to sample several special wines.

The Recreation Department advises to wear comfortable shoes because the trip does involve some stairs and walking on uneven surfaces.

The cost of the trip will be $48.00 per person. More information and sign-up forms can be found at Hergenhan Recreation Center on Maple Avenue in Armonk.
