ARMONK, N.Y. A tree fell on Route 128 near Wampus Lake Road sometime Thursday morning making it impossible for vehicle access throughout the afternoon.
A North Castle police officer said the tree brought wires down with it when it fell. He added that Con Edison cleared the wires and the Department of Transportation was at the scene at 4 p.m. to get rid of the tree so the road could be reopened.
Cablevision also responded to assess damage.
