ArtsWestchester Seeks Submissions for Ceramic Show

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- ArtsWestchester seeks handmade ceramic cups from county residents interested in contributing to an upcoming eARTh exhibition focuses on environmental conservation and sustainability.

ArtsWestchester plans to display dozens of cups from participating Westchester residents in an installation called "Cups Coming Together." 

Contemporary ceramic work from more than 64 professional artists will sit besides "Cups Coming Together" during the eARTh exhibit, which runs from  Oct. 6  to Nov. 23.

All "Cups Coming Together" submissions will be sold and proceeds will go towards ArtsWestchester. 

If interested in submitting a handmade, fired ceramic cup or mug, be sure to craft the piece so that it is no larger than eight inches tall. Then fill out an entry form and deliver the submission and form to ArtsWestchester's gallery at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains. Cups will be accepted between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Sept. 12 to Sept. 19.
