Southeast resident Danielle Sawicki, age 32, was arrested following a search of her residence on Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, March 4.
According to the Sheriff's Office, in July 2024, investigators received a cyber tip from the New York State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force related to explicit materials being transmitted from a Putnam County home.
On the day of Sawicki's arrest, investigators executed a search warrant at her home. She was then interviewed and charged with three counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of seventeen, a felony, authorities said.
Sawicki was then arraigned in the Town of Southeast Court and released on her own recognizance to return at a future court date, the Sheriff's Office said.
