Restaurant week will take place between March 11-24, and will feature more than 90 restaurants throughout Westchester County.
Top restaurants highlight the region’s gastronomical bounty and will give diners an opportunity to enjoy great dining at reasonable prices. Participating restaurants will feature prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95 (plus beverage, tax and tip).
“The Hudson Valley is a rising star in the culinary world,” said event founder Janet Crawshaw. “Home to the country’s foremost cooking school, world-class wineries and distilleries, award-winning cheese makers and some of the top chefs in America, it makes for world-class eating -- on par with the best dining destinations in the world.” The Hudson Valley recently was named by National Geographic magazine as a “must-see” destination -- one of only three U.S. destinations -- in part due its “vibrant” food scene.
Local purveyors, such as Millbrook Vineyards, Tuthilltown Spirits and Continental Organics (aquaponics) supply many of the menu ingredients.
“With so many restaurants participating, the culinary offerings are diverse. Many chefs focus on locally sourced, ingredients for their dishes,” Crawshaw said.
Reservations are strongly encouraged and even required by some restaurants. To make a reservation, click on the menu link next to the restaurant in which you are interested.
