James Dolan Reportedly Set To Bid $1 To Buy New York Daily News
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- James Dolan, the head of the Madison Square Garden Company, Cablevision and Newsday, is reportedly set to bid $1 to purchase the New York Daily News, according to multiple reports.
Current owner Mort Zuckerman was allegedly hoping to get between $150 and $200 million for the paper, but annual losses that could be up to $30 million will likely keep bids for the tabloid down, The New York Post said.
