A 26-year-old Union City man wanted out of North Carolina for armed robbery has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, authorities said. Hermes Navarro-Cuevas was arrested by members of Homeland Security Investigations at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark on Friday, May 13 around 12:40 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. North Bergen Man Sexually Assaults Woman After Offering Her Ride Home, Authorities Say
A North Bergen man was arrested for sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman at a local hotel, authorities announced. Christopher Graham, 46, was arrested Wednesday by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit around 6 a.m. at the Days Inn on Tonnelle Avenue, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Authorities charged a Bayonne ex-con with murder in the Tuesday night shooting death of a man on a Jersey City street. Bernard Wilson, 27, gunned down 38-year-old Abimael Fuentes on Brinkerhoff Street between Monticello and Bergen avenues around 10:30 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said Wednesday.
