Twins Born In Different Years Among NJ's First Babies Of 2024
Twin brothers were among some of the last babies born in 2023 and the first of 2024 in New Jersey.
Ezra was born at 11:48 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, while his little brother Ezekial was born at 12:28 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Camden.
Ezra weighed 6 pounds and measured 18¾ inches long, while Ezekial weighed 4 pounds and measured 17¼ inches long. To make their birthdays even more special, Ezra shares his birthday with his dad, Billy, who is a New Year’s Eve baby, too.

Loic Beliard, a 30-year-old North Bergen resident, died on Wednesday, Dec 6, according to his obituary.
Beliard was born June 3, 1993 in Cap-Haitian, Haiti and immigrated to New Jersey three years ago, his obituary reads.
He worked as Vice Consul for the Haitian Consulate in New York, his obituary reads. He is survived by his mother, Mildrede and other immediate family and friends, according to his obituary.

Thousands Without Power, Roads Flooded, Schools Delayed In North Jersey After Storm
Rain from a Sunday, Dec. 17 storm closed roads and delayed school openings across New Jersey on Monday, Dec. 18.
Thousands of residents were without power as of 9 a.m.
According to the PSE&G outage map, the following areas did not have power:
Bergen: 3,764 (Most in New Milford, Elmwood Park, Garfield)
Hudson: 4,095 (Most in Bayonne, North Bergen)
Passaic: 2,718 (Most in Clifton, Passaic)
Union: 660
